Hemorrhoids and Varicose Veins are the result of weak veins and excessive pressure on them. Hemorrhoids are a painful conglomeration of vessels and tissues of the anorectal area and often appear as baggy swellings. Internal hemorrhoids originate above the internal sphincter of the anus. Sometimes they can protrude from the anus causing further constriction and pain. Usually bleeding occurs when the hemorrhoidal vein ruptures. Symptoms associated with hemorrhoids include burning, itching and bleeding. Chronic loss of blood can potentially result in severe anemia.
